Old Slow 1 got all the MgA shirts for everyone which I still wear once in a while. Bulldog was going in the motor cycle business, a...

Vista is the reason I'M switching to Apple. Leppard will be out at the end of March.

Vista is a lemon and won't be ready for prime time for a year or so.

PCI Express & DDR2

I received an email from Biostar today advising that the would release their NF150 mobo with PCI Express at the end of March- Wahoo . Corsair just announced the release of DDR2 memory chips which should be available soon. Microsoft is still delaying the release of the 64 operating system - could the...

Oden, hardware is moving to the serial mode: sata usb 2 gigabit lan raid and now PCI Express. Motherboard manufactruers will force PCI Express on users- making AGP cards obsolete within the next 2years. So the bottom line is don't spend big bucks for AGP cards which should be on sale at all outlets ...

Don't get me wrong- I love the case, but the only thing available for it is a shuttle size mobo as no one makes a undersize mobo to fit the case. Moreover, you can't buy just the case yet , and the max PS is 225-250wtt. --- but it is a great looking case I think. So you have limited hardware upgrade...

Rock, its not bad, but I like to build my own stuff. You can tweak performance and upgrade path by selecting good components rather than take a package someone else has configured for profit motive. The 64 bit chip will drop in price at month end. I'm looking at : Biostar N3 board with ob snd, 64 vi...

Rock, we did have good info on the old site, but most of it is obsolete now, and this year will rapidly continue the process. These are a few of the changes that may take place this year: PCS - PCS Express 32bit -64 bit AGP- will be eliminated or revamped FSB- Will be revamped DDR- will change to DD...
