I have two programs - GamesXCopy (made by the now defunct DVDXCopy peeps) and something called GameDrive 8 (I haven loaded this one yet). GamesXCopy - makes images of ALL your games so you can mount them in virtual drives - my favourite right now and it works for DOOM3. If DVDXcopy is dead, how abo...

CD emulator

Who's using what for a virtual CD drive?

I need a better app than I was using before. It has to be able to make an executable image of my game CD's. If it will make a usable image of UT2004 or 2003 I want it. Those are the hardest to get past the copy lock.

Didja smack it with a newspaper? Sometimes that works.

Even if it doesn't, it makes you feel better.

Re: DVD software

I put a DVD movie in the DVD Rom, it tried to install InterVideo 2.0 which is an old version of WinDVD, couldn't play the movie, errors, crash, need I go on? WinDVD5 works very well. Trouble is it's 70 bucks to buy it and the trial period is 14 days. Granted, I'm not going to sit in front of my com...

My guess is the 100 plus meg zip you sent me. I sent you an email with a question about that. In the directory are two folders, one is 2ch the other is 5.1ch. Both of them about the same size and comparable content. Should I assume the 5.1 is the newer version and use it?

Holy cow. That's alot of heatsink. Copper base is good.

I often wondered how cross cutting a standard HS would work. Doing that would let more air move around towards the base of the HS. Similar idea as your new one.

LOL...Good call Ash! Since you mentioned that, I noticed there was no sound cable coming from the CD Rom either. Guess he doesn't want to listen to his music CD's in this world of MP3's.
