Is this the location I download the maps from? When I am on the server and when a custom map downloads to my computer I only get like 12 kb per sec, which takes awhile.

My advice is to shut off auto downloads, it never was a good option with Q3. All that will happen is that you'll get dropped from the server if a map rotates up you don't have. It will show the name of the map that couldn't load.

Yep, as soon as the map downloads my connection just hangs. I have to disconnect from the server than to a quick reconnect from the console. Thanks Timex, I will turn my auto-downloads off. Take care.. DarkSoldier
