Anyone heard of Kasperspky or Eset?
I've been doing some interesting reading about antivirus programs. Things like how they work, what type of kernal or engine is used, who is fastest, things of that nature.

Avast = Alwill = Czeckoslovakia
Kaspersky = Russia
Panda = Spain
etc, etc.
Symantec got an across the board 100% rating from Virus Bulletin but it's too much of a resource hog for me. It's a good product for average home use or office settings, but not for gamers. I've even read in forums that some daredevil gamers turn it off while they're playing.
AVG also got an across the board 100% rating from Virus Bulletin. So did a couple others but they escape me at the moment.
