I am new to all this stuff but this thing weighed like 2lbs when I took it out of the box!

Holy cow. That's alot of heatsink. Copper base is good.

I often wondered how cross cutting a standard HS would work. Doing that would let more air move around towards the base of the HS. Similar idea as your new one.

I have one just like if anyone wants one. Its a swift Tech. I paid 60.00 bucs would take 30. Its for AMD :shock: It comes w/ a 7000 rpm fan....
