Man check out this heatsink I just got.

I am new to all this stuff but this thing weighed like 2lbs when I took it out of the box!

Holy cow. That's alot of heatsink. Copper base is good.
I often wondered how cross cutting a standard HS would work. Doing that would let more air move around towards the base of the HS. Similar idea as your new one.

Looks like you could get easily screwed by that heat sink.

I have one just like if anyone wants one. Its a swift Tech. I paid 60.00 bucs would take 30. Its for AMD

It comes w/ a 7000 rpm fan....
