Sooo... did this happen?

Post by -M|ST--SPEED- »

I have an HP 8450W... runs Q3 better than my old desktop did. :)

Haven't actually PLAYED... but wanted to know if I need to knock off the cobwebs before I dedicated too much time to prep...

...and where's the map zip or list/links? You guys all run tons of custom maps which I'm cool with... just HATE getting kicked when I don't have them. :)

Oh.. and hi BTW. :)

Howdy Speed

Majors server has a lot of custom maps , mine has like 4 stock maps

If I can find some free time I'll work on setting up a FTP to grab all the custom maps.

That'd be awesome - Thanks!

...but did the 'reunion frag fest' take place?

If not, we should set up an LMS (Last Man Standing) for like JUNE or something... I've still got a bunch of the rules, map list stuff, etc. from the one I ran years ago, and that'd help get some activity on some servers as well. Start bringing the old crowd back together.

...of course, another option would be to do a tournament... maybe a 2 on 2 tournament (no clan affiliation requirement or anything) with an actual entrance fee with a cash prize or something. THAT would most CERTAINLY get the word of mouth going and get some interest generated again.

Thoughts!

An LMS and/or a tournament is a great idea. There's alot of things to
consider when offering prizes of any kind. Liabilities and such. I wouldn't
have the vaguest idea where to start.
