ATi Catalyst 4.10

CATALYST Windows XP 4.10 - Driver Download
ATi has just released the new WinXP/Win2K Catalyst 4.10 drivers for your downloading pleasure. According to ATi, there are performance increases across the range of graphics cards as well as new features like desktop rotation in expanded mode as well as 720p and 1080i HDTV mode for CRTs and DFPs. The .Net version of the drivers weigh in just over 44MB and while the standard 4.10s are a svelte (by comparison) 26MB. Get them if you need them.
A word of warning before you run off and install these drivers .
I installed the 4.10s and everything seemed to run faster with the exception off all my games !
Quake , Call of Duty , you name it , after a minute or so of game play BOOM ! frozen screen crash , reboot the system to get back.
So give it a shot , they may work better for you then me , as for now I'm back with the 4.09s with no problems.
